Air pollution is silently undermining the health of Buffalo residents. There may not be a visible blanket of smog, but fine particulate matter (PM 2.5), nitrogen dioxide, black carbon and carbon dioxide are still poisoning the air to various degrees – especially in historically disadvantaged neighborhoods.
